'Peachey Portraits'

I have painted people all my life and find the human face fascinating. Although the individual components (eyes, nose, mouth) are the same we all look entirely different and a familiar face can be easily recognised in a crowd. I paint commissioned portraits of adults, children and pets directly from your favourite photo. As well as having sold many paintings over the years I have also exhibited in the Essex Open Art Competition several times, winning an award for a painting of my daughter. A commissioned portrait is a rare and special gift for someone you love. - Maureen Peachey
